Pueblo bike path system:
Pueblo has over 30 miles of separated bike paths along the Fountain Creek, Runyon Lake, the Riverwalk, the Arkansas River trail along the Kayak Course and Pueblo Mural Levee, past the Nature Center and through Lake Pueblo State Park and into Pueblo West. You can ride 19 miles from the north entrance of Lake Pueblo by Pueblo West all the way to Colorado State University Pueblo.
Pueblo West has 13 miles of paved trails and 20 miles of soft surface trails in easements for horses, people on foot or bicycle. Hopefully in 2022 or 2023 the final mile of missing trail will be constructed in Pueblo West along Nichols Rd and Nichols Trail to connect all the trails south of Hwy 50 in Pueblo West to the Lake Pueblo and City trail systems!
Lake Pueblo State Park trails:
Concrete regional trail: Lake Pueblo has 8 miles of concrete trails connecting both the North and South Marinas and the river trail system.
North Shore trails: includes roughly 8 miles of single track trails off Railroad Rd leading to lake overlooks and campgrounds.
South Shore trails: includes 29 miles of single track trails from Arkansas Point trailhead or the Red Gate parking off Hwy 96.
