Pueblo West Trails and Parks

Pueblo West has 20.5 miles of paved trails and over 20 miles of soft surface trails in easements for horses and people on foot or bicycle.  Little by little, multiuse trails have connected schools, parks, library and retail areas for the community to explore more safely on foot, bicycle, scooter or wheelchair.

  • The FINAL MISSING MILE was completed on May 24, 2024 with the opening of the new Nichols trail bridge and Nichols trail connecting Pueblo West trails to Lake Pueblo trails and beyond to the City of Pueblo trails!

  • In 2026, the trail extended to Liberty Park overlook.

  • There are still gaps in the  network but there are 20 miles of soft surface trails in easements that provide a lot of connections.
