After the Pueblo 150 challenge, a large group of Americans will be participating in a free relay across the United States on the American Discovery Trail (ADT).  The ADT is one of at least five national bicycle routes to pass through Pueblo. 


The 2026 ADT Relay starts July 4th at the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco and will pass through 15 states to finish on Thanksgiving in Delaware. The relay passes through Pueblo in September 2026. You can sign up to volunteer, run or ride part of the course.

  • Saturday, September 12th:  Canon City to Pueblo (46.2 miles run/bike options)  

    • Details to be announced on local celebration​

  • Sunday, September 13th:  Pueblo to La Junta (78.1 mile bike option)

PACE (Pueblo Active Community Environments) has advocated for a bicycle and pedestrian friendly community by working with PACOG (Pueblo Area Council of Governments including City of Pueblo, Pueblo County, Pueblo West Metro, CDOT, Lake Pueblo State Park) and more. We advocate for connected bike lanes, trails, sidewalks, bike racks, advocate for safety, started weekly Cruiser Rides in 2011 and Bike to Work events, Commuter Cup Challenge in 2010 to connect with others at a human pace.  We want to promote all the active options you can enjoy in our amazing community with 330 days of sunshine a year!
