About P.A.C.E.

Pueblo Active Community Environments (PACE) is a community organization originally established as part of the Livewell Pueblo grant to provide citizen input and collaboration with city and county officials on improving the built environment to promote healthy, active lifestyles.  PACE advocates for improved walkability and bikeability but is not formally organized as a 501(c)(3) non-profit but works in association with other non-profits with similar advocacy goals.

The purpose of PACE is to promote a walkable, bikeable, sustainable Pueblo community.

The mission of PACE is to promote walkability and bikeability, maintain the historical and cultural aspects of Pueblo while creating an economically viable community where people want to live, work and play.

The vision of PACE is for Pueblo to be an active, thriving community attracting tourism and new residents while maintaining current residents.
